| I did not have insurance. For Arthroscopy of the right knee. The surgeon charged $23,000 for his portion. The outpatient center charged $7,800 and the anesthesiologist was $810. Billing codes for the procedures were 29876 and 29881. The surgery was performed as exploratory due to continued pain in the knee. The knee was not torn, broken or chipped. Very expensive. |
